Courtyard by Marriott, a prestigious hotel in Faridabad, Haryana, blends sophistication with functionality across its 158 rooms and comprehensive amenities. Implementing advanced AV and Acoustics solutions, the hotel enhances guest experiences through immersive entertainment and streamlines operations by providing adaptable spaces for diverse events and guest requirements.

With unified solutions, we have created cutting-edge modern technology with multi-featured systems that provide automation benefits and ease for the hotel staff. To manage operations at the hotel, we dig into site analysis. Upon our visit, we marked different zones of the property in a drawing.

Dedicated AV racks for specific areas have ensured smoother functioning and less distortion. The areas with large gatherings have been equipped with high-end displays showing engaging content. The projector’s expanded display enhanced presentations. The ceiling speakers, Line Array, and Paging Horn speakers deliver a sonic impact that resonates throughout the space. The system benefits from amplifiers, regulating signals, and 3U and 4k technology of switchers, which offers efficient, versatile, and high-quality performance, making it an ideal choice for large AV systems.


WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?

The client intends to build Audio and visual solutions in multiple areas, such as Reception, Restaurant, Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms and Conference Spaces, Training room, Dining, Outdoor, etc. These are focused areas that will host the maximum number of gatherings, and the client wants to equip them with high-end content displays, signage, and audio.


SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN

To manage hotel operations, we conducted site analysis. Upon our visit, we marked different zones of the property in a drawing. Our technical drawings are essential for communicating the ideas of industry and engineering, and they are easy to understand. Our techniques cultivated a system with less complexity and improved the overall hotel experience.

A detailed guide with drawings was shared with the client on how the system is going to function, such as cabling length and route to merge one another, rack deployment in areas, specifications fitting the requirement, Brands complying with specifications, product to be placed at—location, height, its uses and interface, after-sales services, etc.


WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?

The extensive property includes multiple public spaces, which are spread out across different blocks or sections.

One of the challenges we faced was connecting these various blocks or sections in terms of backend connectivity. This means establishing the necessary infrastructure, like cables, to ensure seamless communication between different parts of the property. Longer cables can lead to signal degradation or loss, impacting the quality of audiovisual (AV) signals transmitted between areas.

Another challenge was that the client preferred a centralized background music (BGM) rack. This means they wanted all audio equipment for playing background music to be located in a single central location rather than distributed throughout the property.


HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?

Despite the client’s preference, our team proposed an alternative solution to address the challenge. We suggested considering dedicated AV racks for specific areas within the property. Instead of having all AV equipment centralized in one location, dedicated racks would be installed in individual areas. By this, we could minimize the length of cables needed, reducing the risk of signal loss and ensuring better AV performance. This solution would also offer more flexibility and control over AV systems in each area.

Our unified solutions have created state-of-the-art modern technology with multi-featured systems that provide automation benefits and ease for the hotel staff. With AV-over-IP, hotel staff and managed service providers can remotely monitor and manage AV equipment.

In the event of room partitioning, such as in a ballroom setting, the products effortlessly adapt to accommodate changes in space configuration and function, maximizing flexibility and usability. High-traffic areas are equipped with dynamic displays that captivate guests with engaging content while also serving as a platform for promoting hotel amenities and services, such as restaurants and spa facilities.
